I was driving through Rockwall, TX today and saw several signs advertizing fun upcoming events. Rockwall is a great place if you are in the Dallas Metroplex or even planning a vacation and you are looking for fun family entertainment or even a great date night. From the Harbor to Shenaniganz there is so much this great city has to offer.

Fishing Derby
Saturday, October 3, 2009, 9pm – 12am
Harry Myers Park, 815 E. Washington
Bring the kids out for a fun-filled morning of fishing and friendly fishing competition. Prizes will be given for the Biggest, Smallest, and First Fish caught in both age groups. Fishing will kick off promptly at 8:00am and prizes will be awarded for 8 & under age group and 9 - 14 age group!
