6.YouData sign-up - click here
For those of you that haven't signed up yet or haven't heard of YouData, you'll want to look into it. They pay each Friday for just looking at a few text ads per week so if you get unlimited text messages this is a perfect opportunity for you. These are small text ads from charities, major retailers and small online businesses just to give you a few examples. Takes little to no time at all........you just have to look at it. It's the easiest way to make extra money. You won't get rich, but the money gets deposited into your PayPal account each week and it can really add up. YouData doesn't even need to know your name and address, but they do need your birthdate (as everyone does) to make sure you are not a minor. Just recently they began a referral program where you can earn up to $1.00 for each friend you refer. You won't get that all at once.....but it is a nice little addition to the money you are already earning. So once you sign up, make sure to invite your friends.
Thanks Frugal Friend!

Yard/Garage Sale Jackpot!
If you get as excited about a saving money as I do you will really enjoy this! We got up this morning and because our kids get up super early we knew we had plenty of time to hit the yard sales. We found one street in our neighborhood with multiple garage sales. I was able to get 1 Gap shirt, 1 Gymbore shirt, 1 Oshkosh shirt, 1 long sleeve Polo shirt, a pair of Gap shorts, Nike shoes, and four great books for $9!!!!! Yard sales are the way to go! The earlier you go the better. They are the best way to stock up on good children's books as far as I am concerned. I am pretty picky on the clothes and extra careful to only buy gently used, clean, stain free clothes. After a good run through the washer the shoes and clothes are ready to be warn. I am so excited about this great find. Please feel free to share any of your Yard/Garage sale finds too! I love Celebrating a good buy!

Thrifty Thursday July 23rd
Welcome to Thrifty Thursday!
Rachel from Cha Ching Queen and I will post new and/or recap money saving and making tips since the last week. We will discuss everyday ways you can save money. If you have a blog and you post money saving or making tips and would like to be featured in "Thrifty Thursday" send your info by email (can be found in about page) or leave a comment below.
Thrifty tip for the week:
Here is a list of Ten Ways to Prevent Over Spending by Simple Mom.
One suggestion I found particularly useful on this site was taking advantage of the wish list feature on the online stores. For example I can go to Amazon.com and place any items I wish for or think would make a great present into the wishlist. That way I can shop around for better deals, or take the time to see if I really need to buy that item.
Another Thrifty tip is to consider doing your grocery shopping at a bag it yourself store or your local Walmart. Walmart has price matching and great coupons and freebies. I have saved a lot of money going to Walmart instead of our local grocery store.
For more Walmart Deals, check out Deal Seeking Mom’s Extensive Walmart Coupon Match up.
There is a Grocery Gathering is hosted at BeCentsAble each Monday and Thursday. Head over to check out all the deals being covered and to join in the discussion!
Thanks Bargain Briana!
No matter what grocery store you decide to shop at always come prepared with a list and coupons. It may take some extra time and preparation but speaking from experience it will help you save a lot of money.
Visit WholeFoodsMarket.com to view your ad online to find your sale dates or a store near you.
Always check here for coupons as well as the dallas coupon bank before heading to the store.

Pasta Recipe
I know it is not Menu Monday but I came accross this recipe on one of my favorite sites 5$ Dinners and thought it sounded like a very yummy, very easy meal that the whole family would enjoy.
Garden Pasta Primavera
Ingredients
16 oz. rotini pasta
2 chicken breasts, diced
1 summer squash
1 zucchini squash
about 1 cup grape tomates
Handful of sugar snap peas
2 Tbsp butter
2 Tbsp flour
2-3 cups milk
2 tsp red wine vinegar
Salt and pepper
Directions
1. In large saucepan, cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain in colander. Do NOT return to saucepan!
2. While pasta is cooking, dice the chicken breasts and cut the zucchini, squash, grape tomatoes and snap peas.
3. Once pasta is out of the saucepan, prepare cream sauce. Melt 2 Tbsp butter (I used a dairy-free variety).
4. Once melted, add in 2 Tbsp flour and 1/2 tsp salt. Use whisk to mix it into a paste.
5. Once paste has formed, quickly add in 2-3 cups of milk (I used rice milk to stay dairy-free!). Whisk well until the pasty clumps have dissipated into the milk. Cook over medium heat for 2-3 minutes, or until starts bubbling.
6. Once bubbling, the sauce is ready for a few mix-ins.
7. Add 2 tsp red wine vinegar, crushed garlic, cracked pepper, diced chicken.
8. Add about 2-3 Tbsp water in with the chicken, so the sauce doesn’t get too thick. Stir often while the chicken cooks through, about 4-5 minutes (depending on how thick the diced chicken pieces are!).
9. Once chicken has cooked through, mix in the cut vegetables. Cover and let cook for 4-5 minutes, or until vegetables have steamed.
10. Mix in cooked pasta. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
11. Serve Garden Pasta Primavera in one bowl. With one spoon!
Always check here for coupons as well as the dallas coupon bank before heading to the store.

Menu Monday July 20th
Welcome back to Menu Monday!
Please feel free to share any comments, recipe ideas, or great coupons.
Each Monday, Rachel from Cha Ching Queen and I will post recipe and menu ideas for the week. We will find both time and money saving meal ideas. Recipes will be focused on the weekly deals and coupon matchups that can be found around the country as well as locally. If you have a blog and you post meal/recipe ideas based on deals in your area we would be glad to feature them and link back to your site.

1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 clove garlic, minced
1 1/4 t. chili powder
3/4 c. canned diced tomatoes w/juice (about 1/2 of a 14.5 oz. can)

Back from Vacation...craving muffins
This has been a busy summer! I have more catching up to do after taking the week off to enjoy a family vacation. We ended up going to Sea World in San Antonio. As usual I checked for coupons first and ended up getting a great discount for the whole family! After several searches the best find was from retailmenot.com. I highly recommend this site for any coupons searches. You can find anything from restaurant deals, coupons and discounts on shopping, even traveling.
During our vacation I was able to visit my cousin Rachel, the owner of the main blogsite, Cha Ching Queen. She made some amazing muffins and I have been craving muffins ever since. I still need to get her recipe but in the mean time her is a yummy recipe I just found on $5dinners.com
Almond, Raspberry and Blueberry Muffins
Ingredients
4 eggs
1/4 cup oil
1/4 cup applesauce
1/2 cup white sugar
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup white flour
1 cup blueberries
1 cup raspberries
Almond Struesel
1/3 cup ground almonds
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1/3 cup butter or margarine, softened
Directions
1. In stand mixer or mixing bowl, stir eggs, oil, applesauce, white sugar, brown sugar and vanilla. Add baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, wheat flour and white flour. Mix until batter forms and is no longer lumpy. Add blueberries and raspberries.
2. Carefully fold in blueberries and raspberries with plastic spatula.
3. In small bowl, mix ground almonds, brown sugar and cinnamon. Using a pastry blender, cut in butter or margarine.
4. Add batter to muffin cups and top each muffin cup with 1 tsp of almond struesel.
5. Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean.
6. Let cool on cooling rack. Serve warm with butter.
Makes 12 regular sized muffins.

Marie Callender's Coupons
Every so often, as a treat my husband and I go to Marie Callenders for one of their desserts. If you haven't tried it, you should taste The Big Apple next time you are there. It's like an apple cobbler with ice cream all in one! Yummy!
Occasionally we get coupons, but this is the first time I have seen some that also include desserts.
If you go here, you can print Marie Calenders coupons for
- Free entree: when you buy one entree and 2 beverages
- 20% off your total bill: includes entrees, non-alcoholic beverages, desserts, and side items.
These coupons expire 8/14.

Thrifty Thursday July
Welcome to Thrifty Thursday!
Rachel from Cha Ching Dallas and I will post new and/or recap money saving tips since the last week. We will discuss everyday ways you can save money.
If you have a blog and you post money saving tips and would like to be featured in "Thrifty Thursday" send your info by email (can be found in about page) or leave a comment below
Here are a few Thrifty Tips I thought were helpful:
1.For your summer vacation plans get a customized vacation map with low gas prices along the route. Getting lost while driving in unfamiliar areas could lead to an expensive waste of gas and unnecessary disputes among passengers. You can use online resources to print a customized vacation map that highlights low-cost gas stations along your route.
2.If you are wanting to cut back on your monthly or annual spending and start saving more money start by keeping track of your expenses. Save receipts, record expenditures and track expenses for 2-3 months to see where your money goes. Many online banking programs offer customers the ability to categorize and track expenses online. You can download credit card bills into Quicken and review them monthly, along with our online banking statements to get a sense of where your money is going. By knowing how you spend, this will help you see where you can cut back.
3. Always always search coupons before making any purchase big or small. If you’re new to online couponing, you might be interested in this recent ranking of the 10 top coupon sites, based on the number of unique visitors, according to Compete.com. This list is a great guide to websites you’ll definitely want to visit before you head out to the supermarket next time, or log on to make another kind of purchase.

2. eversave.com

4. coolsavings.com
5. couponmountain.com
6. couponcabin.com
7. fatwallet.com
