Excited about my coupons!
I went to the grocery store today and saved about $8 with my coupons from coupons.com. To some $8 might not seem like much but I was very excited about it. I used the money I saved to buy hotwheels cars, stickers, and other $1 toys for a goody box for my three year old. He refuses to eat vegetables and I am worried that he is eating too much junk food. So I am going to start offering all kinds of healthy food for him to try and learn to like. Yes, I said learn to like. To put it in three year old terms I explained to him that he needed to learn to like some of the green vegetables he runs from so that he can be a strong super hero. For every new healthy food he tries and works on learning to like I will let him visit the goody box. Tonight he was able to get a Mustang hotwheels car because he tried lima beans more than once and tried to like them. I don't blame him for not liking the lima beans but I was proud of his attempts. Tomorrow he told me he wants to try a carrot again and maybe some corn.
Please feel free to share any creative ways you have used the money you saved with coupons.
By the way I used a $1 off coupon for Starbucks Icecream. It is amazing and only cost me a $1! Yum!
*If you look on the right side of this blogsite there is an easy quick print for coupons.com. This makes it super easy to select and print the coupons you want to use. I hope this helps.
